Here you can find out about how we run things at Hertford Heath Pre-School. We need your help to keep this organisation running as smoothly as possible!
If you would like a place for your child at our pre-school, please make an appointment and we'll gladly take the time to explain everything you need to know. You can make an appointment by phone or by using our contact form. We look forward to meeting you!
It's unavoidable that young children catch all kinds of minor illnesses and infections. For a speedy recovery and to prevent the other children from falling ill, children who are unwell must stay at home. Only when the fever has subsided for a whole day should you return your child to Pre-School.
If a child is sick or had diarrheoa, 48 hours must pass before they can return to pre-school. This is to prevent the bug from spreading.
All we ask as a Pre-School is that you let us know, either by phone or text, that your child will not be making it in.
We accept a range of different childcare vouchers schemes and are happy to register with new schemes if necessary.
We can offer spaces to children entitled to the 2 and 3 year old funding.
3 year old funding entitles your child to 15 hours a week free education paid for by the government. Funding can be accessed the term after your child turns 3
Parents may be entitled to the 30hours funding which we can offer in partnership with other settings and childminders.
2 year old funding is for 15 hours a week and is for eligable families only. To see if you are eligable please check the herts direct website by following the link below:
