Our Pre-School recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children. Staff see themselves as partners with you in providing care and eductaion for your child. There are
many ways in which parents take part in making the Pre-School a welcome and stimulating place for children and parents, such as:
- exchanging knowledge about their children's needs, activities, interests and progress with the staff
- Add items on the children's Tapestry Learning Journal and comment on the posts added by pre-school.
- sharing their own special interests with the children
- Help on visits/outings (Extra hands to hold)
- Join in with fundraising or make something for a fundraising event
- support the events
- Building friendships with other parents at the Pre-School
- come into Pre-School to share any special knowledge, expertise or talent
- Supply any resources/ artistic materials etc.
It is essential that we have parental involvement in the running of the Pre-School and we very much welcome any help and support you can give us.
